Boots Allen is a third-generation Wyoming fishing guide, author, and conservation storyteller whose family helped shape the fly fishing industry in Jackson Hole and the Snake River region dating back to the 1920s. As a longtime senior guide with Snake River Angler, Boots has spent decades guiding anglers on the rivers of Wyoming and Idaho while sharing his deep knowledge of the outdoors, wildlife, and Western heritage.
In addition to guiding, Boots is the author of several fly fishing books, a contributor to national fishing publications, and has appeared in regional and national television programs focused on conservation and the outdoors. His lifelong connection to Jackson Hole, storytelling ability, and passion for preserving the traditions of the West make him a perfect voice to introduce Abby’s book.
